Credit risk, Collections Sector,  Pre-Sales Head of the Sector

The sector includes the following departments, which I direct:

  • Credit risk analysis department

The department covers the full study of the incoming customer’s economic and legal files in order to approve or reject the application.

I specifically have the unlimited right of signature. My study includes a full financial analysis at an upper level concerning decision

making for the issuing of personal, consumer and mortgage loans as well as for the issuing of credit cards for the Bank.

  • Collections department

This department covers all the range of the collection department of the Bank. From one month delay, up to the point that legal actions are

performed against the customer. Full reports are created on a monthly basis.

  • Pre – Sales department

Co-operates with the sales department and keeps the sales councils advised for the credit terms as well as the customer balances to coordinate cash collection.

Credit risk and Operations Department, Credit Officer

As a credit analyst I was undertaking the full financial and legal analysis of the customer’s file. The analysis was concluded with a recommendation of the decision for the credit product  and a senior level signature. I was also responsible for the Branches of southern Greece as far as the customer service was concerned.

January 1999 – November 2004:

ABN AMRO Bank, Athens Greece.

Credit Officer.

Organization and elaboration of the incoming applications. Rating  the application and the customer and decision making for the issuing of personal, consumer and mortgage loans as well as for the issuing of credit cards. Note that the time of my specific occupation, was the exact time that the retail banking product was at its peak in the Greek Market.

September 1998 – December 1998:

ABN AMRO Bank, Athens Greece.

Collections Officer.

Telephone contact with the clients of the Bank that maintain overdue accounts. Report preparation. I was occupied in the whole field of overdue accounts and specialized in  pre legal cases and cases of fraud.
